You need to have a few things in place before you can successfully start a store on the Internet.

GeoShops enables you to sell physical goods over the Internet. So before you create an e-commerce website, make sure you have products ready to manufacture, promote, sell and ship.

A merchant account is a business bank account that allows you to accept credit-card payments. Your merchant account must be able to process these credit-card payments through Payment Tech or FDC (First Data Corporation). It must also use Envoy or Nashville as the networks.

If you don't have a merchant account, Wells Fargo can help establish one for you.
